For employers with employees living foreign worker dormitories*, employers with Work Permit and S-Pass holders working in the Construction/Marine/Process sectors, and dormitory operators*:
From 2 June 2020, dormitory operators and employers are required to ensure that each worker downloads and activates the latest version of the TraceTogether App. This is part of a larger set of MOM’s Safe Living measures at dormitories, so that workers can progressively resume work, as safely as possible.
For general workplaces:
If your business has job roles or functions where your employees cannot work from home, employers are highly encouraged to ensure that their employees have the latest version of TraceTogether installed and activated, as part of their Safe Management measures. This will help MOH quickly identify potential close contacts of COVID-19 patients, reduce disease transmission, and reduce the impact to your business operations.
