Note: The content below applies to people who tested positive in Singapore with a MOH-approved test provider (e.g. clinic, Combined Test Centres, Quick Testing Centres).
If you had completed your primary vaccination series1 or booster before your infection:
- Your Vaccination status will continue to show “Vaccinated”. There will be no change to the effective date of your vaccination status, as that's the date of when your vaccination had first started taking effect; and
- Your PET status will show “No PET status”.
If you were unvaccinated or partially vaccinated before your infection:
- Your Vaccination status will show "Exempted from vaccination“. This status is valid for 180 days from the first COVID positive test that was either supervised or administered by a MOH-licensed provider. Self-swabs or swabs administered/supervised by non-MOH licensed providers are excluded. This is calculated starting from the day of the first positive COVID test administered or supervised by an MOH licensed provider in Singapore.
1 Starting from 1 June 2022, you may walk into any Vaccination Centre, before 7pm, to receive your booster dose 28 days after infection, if you have taken the primary series but been infected before receiving booster. For more details, see this press release.
