Update on 21 Jan 2022: In line with MOH's streamlining of COVID-19 healthcare protocols, the Test status card on the TraceTogether App has been simplified to show your Pre-Event Test (PET) status.
With this change, positive test results will no longer show in the app. Our high vaccination/booster rates and safe management measures have been able to keep the number of severe cases low, which allows Singapore to gradually move towards social responsibility as key to living with COVID-19.
If you tested positive,
Step 1: Self-isolate.
Step 2: Upload your TraceTogether App data as soon as possible, if you got an SMS from MOH to upload your data. Why? Because the identity of COVID positive persons are never revealed to close contacts, and your close contacts would get early notice and be offered free ART kits. MOH recommends close contacts to monitor their health and self-test negative before leaving home, for the next 5 days.
Step 3: Follow your doctor’s advice, or visit MOH’s COVID website for more information. Get well soon!

More information about PET status
A Pre-Event Test is only needed for selected activities as specified by MOH. There are two types of PET status (see table below). You need the ‘Cleared’ status to participate in these activities.

Note: Only results from MOH-approved test providers will be reflected in the app. |
It may take some time for the test providers to update your test results.
If you’re looking to enter places that need you to show proof of a cleared/negative COVID test, you may wish to bring along alternative acceptable documents. You may find the full list of documents here, based on MOH’s policy.
