[For TraceTogether App v2.14.0 and above] If you have a green vaccination status, you will see an animated otter on the home screen.
When you tap on View pass, the COVID Health green pass is shown. You can show this green pass at venues1 where vaccination checks are required. This is a more convenient way to show your COVID Health status, as you do not need to first do a SafeEntry check-in.
1 MOH announced on 22 April 2022 that the use of TraceTogether and SafeEntry will be stepped down from 26 April 2022. Venues no longer require the public to check in, except at high-risk settings where entrance checks for vaccination-differentiated SMMs are still required. More details on the changes to the usage of TT App from 26 April 2022 can be found here.
How is the COVID Health green pass different from the green pass that is shown when I perform a SafeEntry check-in?
You can show either one at venues where vaccination checks are required.
The COVID Health green pass is a more convenient option for TraceTogether App users, as it can be shown without doing a SafeEntry check-in. The validity of the Pre-Event Testing (PET) status is also displayed to support faster entrance checks at venues where a ‘Cleared’ PET status is required.
[At venues where a ‘Cleared’ PET status is required] What is the difference between showing my Vaccination and PET status from the home screen, and showing the COVID Health green pass?
You can use either method to show your vaccination and PET status. The COVID Health green pass enables faster entrance checks, as both your vaccination and PET status are shown for easier verification.
