Yes, all Short-Term Visitors to Singapore are required to use TraceTogether (TT) while in Singapore, as part of the requirements under the various travel schemes. Children aged 6 years or younger in that calendar year are exempted from this requirement.
Visitors must download the TT App on their mobile devices prior to arrival in Singapore, or rent a device installed with TT App from ChangiRecommends for arrival via Changi Airport and Seletar Airport. Upon arrival, visitors must activate and use the App for the duration of their stay in Singapore.
Only the following groups are eligible to collect the TT Token at checkpoints, for which deposit of S$50 is payable for each Token. More details on where to find the collection counters can be found here.
- Entry via Changi Airport and Seletar Airport: Children who are aged 7 to 12 years in that calendar year, and those unable to use a mobile device due to a certified disability or special need.
- Entry via Woodlands Checkpoint, Tuas Checkpoint, and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal: Those who are unable to download or register for the TT App.
