Presently, foreign health authorities would inform Singapore Ministry Of Health (MOH) if a Short-Term Visitor to Singapore becomes a confirmed COVID-19 patient within 21 days after departing from Singapore.
TT App User
As part of the requirements under the various travel schemes, Short-Term Visitors using the TraceTogether (TT) App are required to retain the TT App with the data for 21 consecutive days after leaving Singapore. If the visitor becomes a confirmed COVID-19 patient after leaving Singapore, he/she will receive an SMS notification with an upload code through the mobile number registered on the TT App. Following which, he/she will be required to enter the upload code on the TT app to upload his/her Bluetooth proximity data to MOH for contact tracing purposes.
TT Token User
Short-Term Visitors who used the TT Token while in Singapore must return their tokens in-person at the return counters set-up at various checkpoints. The returned tokens will be securely stored for 21 days from the date of return. If the visitor becomes a confirmed COVID-19 patient after leaving Singapore, the token will be retrieved with the Bluetooth proximity data uploaded upon notification by MOH. The visitor will also be notified by the authorities via the mobile number provided during the registration for tokens.
